Dog Shampoo Bar - Sensitive Formula

Doggy Do Good Deshedding Dog Shampoo Bar is a big slice of a shampoo bar. The manufacturer is not wrong, it is a big bar, so big it felt a bit unwieldy for me to use with just one hand - I think I'd prefer it if it was rounded. Geranium & Citronella scent is very aggressive and I really don't like either of these two. I kept trying to ground myself thinking that mosquitos don't like these scents either, so maybe this shampoo bar is even greater in warmer months. Overall, the shampoo bar worked great, lathered well, and washed off easily, leaving both of my dog's furs clean and shiny.

I was really excited to try this bar dog soap and it didn't disappoint! The black one in the photos was the dirtiest. She gets super greasy and loves to then roll in the dirt. I had to go over her twice, but what a difference. I have worked as a kennel tech and have bathed thousands of dogs. I would've used at least 6oz of liquid soap to bath all 3 dogs. The soap lathers well and you can really get it in all those nooks where a liquid just falls into the tub. I washed all three of my dogs and it looks like I haven't even used the bar. It also has a very pleasant smell. I have one very itchy dog, she's also white, and the soap was able to get most of the red lick stains off. So far she hasn't started scratching. There was a bar saver bag included with the bar. It's very nice and would work great on me, but got all bound up with dog hair so I took it off. I will never buy liquid dog soap again.

So I don't know about the "deshedding" aspect of this shampoo bar, because my large furry dog is shedding and it is not possible to tell if this helped or hindered the shedding.

However, my dog smells great! And it also rinsed out very easily.

The included rope bag is very appreciated, and I hung the soap in the garage where we keep the dog's outdoor shampoos and grooming supplies. Nice to have a place to hang the wet shampoo bar.

My dog has sensitive skin so when I saw this shampoo bar was made with all natural ingredients like coconut oil, Shea butter, olive oil, aloe vera and citronella just to name a few, I wanted to try it. It smells nice and lathers well. They provide you with a soap saver bag to store it in also. It left my Labrador's coat feeling soft and smooth without irritation. While she does not like baths, they are a weekly part of her routine, and this shampoo bar will become a staple of that routine since I can recognize all the ingredients that are going on her skin.

I had never heard of a shampoo bar for dogs before I ran across this product. I works amazingly well on my 2 Dalmatians and my husky. It saves me on shampoo. When I bathe my dogs, it is usually in the shower. Inevitably, as soon as I squirt a stream of regular liquid shampoo on a dog, it will shake and all the shampoo ends up flying all over the place. Or I'll start squirting regular shampoo and my dog will move and I'll spill half of the squirt on the shower floor. This shampoo bar solves those problems. I just rub the bar where I want on my dog's fur and that area gets soapy. No more wasted shampoo!
